Laurent-Perrier
“Ne Buvez Jamais d’Eau!”
Established in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is one of the most distinguished independent, family-owned Champagne houses.
The house was set up by Eugene Laurent in Tours-Sur-Marne, and after marrying Mathilde-Emilie Perrier, the company name was born. Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, a member of another great Champagne family, Lanson, acquired the house in 1938 after the owners died. In 1948 her son, Bernard, who had spent much of the Second World War fighting in the Resistance, took over the business and began the process of rebuilding it after the war.
Bernard led the company for over 60 years until his death in 2010, latterly working alongside the generation currently in charge: his daughters Alexandra and Stephanie.
The development and success of the House of Laurent-Perrier has been marked by innovation; as the premium multi-vintage Grand Siècle, the unique Ultra Brut and the iconic Cuvee Rose Brut illustrate.

Chardonnay Pioneers
Laurent Perrier was one of the first Champagne houses to use Chardonnay, creating an elegant, signature style for the house. Even today, the Laurent Perrier Brut NV has a higher proportion of the grape than most non-vintage Champagne blends.
