Krug Champagne has been quietly redefining excellence since 1843. Six generations of the Krug family have cultivated the markedly individual character of their exceptional Champagne, showing that same single-mindedness and sense of purpose with which the founder, Johann-Joseph Krug, set out alone in pursuit of his objective of making a unique Champagne with a taste all of its own.

Krug only produces prestige cuvee Champagnes with a total dedication to quality. It is the only Champagne House still fermenting all of its Champagnes in small oak casks, to develop Krug’s intense bouquet and complex flavour. Since there is no precise formula for Krug Champagne, the memory of the original Krug taste has been passed on intact from generation to generation in the Krug family. Today both the 5th and 6th generations directly supervise every phase of production, tasting and blending.
