Cave Terraventoux
Classic Rhone wines from the slopes of Mont Ventoux
In the foothills of the mighty Mont Ventoux – famed for being one of the most ferocious climbs in the Tour de France - this ultra forward-looking producer has five distinct terroirs at their disposal – marl, both calcerous and ancient limestone, sandy loam and pebbly alluvium. Head winemaker Richard Ohms puts these diverse vineyards to great use with a well executed (and very smartly presented) range of wines dripping with abundant Southern French sunshine.
The Terres de Truffes is the star of the show continues to stun tasters at this pricepoint, especially when served alongside some of the local black truffles that Richard and his team spend much of the free time searching for.

Playing it cool
Mont Ventoux stretches some 1909m above sea level and its slopes provide some of the highest vineyards in the southern Rhone. This altitude ensures a cooler climate and gives the wines of the Cotes du Ventoux their tell-tale fresh, light, fruity style.
