Let us take you back... its January 1981, Bruno Paillard is a 27 year old, and with nothing but his will – no vineyards, no money, he sells his old Jaguar that had become a collectors’ item to provide his company with the starting capital of 50,000 francs. If that’s not passion we don’t know what is!

Bruno Paillard Champagne is a young, dynamic house that has quickly established a reputation for elegant wines with real style. Fresh, dry and vibrant, they are made with an uncompromising attitude to quality that shines through in the glass. The house follows a strict quality charter that includes only using the first pressings, vinifying each cru separately and putting the disgorgement date on each bottle. Bruno was made a Chevalier of the Legion d'Honneur in 2006 for his services to Champagne.

First Press Champagne

Bruno Paillard is one of very few houses to only use first press juice. This ensures the best possible quality but is also expensive as you reject potential juice from the second and later pressings. It's one example of their no expense spared attitude to quality.
