Bastianich

Joe Bastianich is a busy man. He owns a clutch of New York's most famous Italian restaurants in partnership with celebrated chef Mario Batali, is a judge on Masterchef USA, makes wine in four Italian regions, trains for Ironman triathlons and keep bees in his spare time. Just having lunch with him is exhausting.

Bastianich the winery is located in Friuli, where Joe's parents were born and it specialises in local grapes such as Friulano and Ribolla Gialla. The house style is very fresh and crisp with lots of aromatic fruit, making the wines ideal for a wide range of foods and cuisines. The wines are already rated amongst the top in the region with Vespa Bianco having been awarded Tre Bicchieri in the Gambero Rosso no fewer than 6 times!
