South African Wine
South Africa would argue that it is not ‘New World’ as wine has been produced there for over 300 years, however in the last 20 years the wine industry has completely reinvented itself. South Africa is now on the cusp of a wave with sales increasing in the UK, messages about biodiversity beginning to stick and strength in certain grape varieties like Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.
