Spain
Spain continues to be one of the most exciting places in Europe. Rioja still rules the roost but beyond are fascinating regions producing grapes like Mencia, Graciano, Godello and Moscatel, who are all emerging in the hands of skilful grape growers and winemakers.

Bernabeleva
Planted with Garnacha, Albillo and Moscatel, Bernabeleva dates back to the 1920’s. Alongside the high altitude vineyards, old vines and tiny production is incredible attention to detail, which results in some of the most exciting wines we have tried in years.

Bodegas Tomas Cusine
Tomas Cusine crafts incredibly fresh wines by using a variety of grapes and mixing riper fruit with berries harvested later in the year. This is to achieve two important things, natural acidity and aromatic intensity, and these wines have it in abundance.

This Bodega is all about Albarino and Castro Martin has led the way in the grape's recent revival. They were one of the first to recognise the benefits of cool, temperature controlled fermentations to protect Albarino's delicate, aromatic fruit.
