Pierre Ferrand Grande Champagne Cognac Ancestrale

A 70-year-old Cognac from Grande Champagne only. Ancestrale is extremely rare, with only 300 bottles released each year. It is based primarily on the 1928 vintage. A lovely mahogany colour, the result of blending some of the oldest cognacs in Ferrand cellars. Incomparable richness of aroma, mingling notes of walnut, liquorice, leather, tobacco and candied fruit. The fruit aromas gradually expand and give way to subtle notes suggestive of rancio and the scent of exotic wood.
