Crystal Head

The world's purest vodka created by Dan Aykroyd

One of the world’s leading vodkas, Crystal Head is the brain child of actor Dan Aykroyd and is created in Canada’s Newfoundland. This unique vodka takes its name and bottle design from a controversial archaeological mystery, involving thirteen 5,000 to 35,000 year old crystal heads which have been found in regions around the world.

The essence of this fine spirit is its purity. It contains no additives, added sugar or citrus oils, all of which are common in many vodkas.  Made from the finest Canadian grain, Crystal Head is an extremely pure, luxury vodka. This purity is created through the glacial water used in production on the island of St John in Newfoundland, 1200 miles from the nearest city. Here the water seeps to the surface through a bed of porous rock which serves as a natural filter, providing a liquid as clean as anywhere you will find on the planet.

The quest for purity continues as the spirit is distilled four times, before being filtered seven times, the last three of which involve filtration through Herkimer Diamonds from New York. This intense filtration process creates a fantastically creamy, smooth vodka, with subtle flavours of citrus and aniseed. Created by Dan Aykroyd to be the world’s purest vodka, the spirit has received recent high praise, winning Double Gold at the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
