Following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps in making Chateauneuf du Pape, Jean-Paul Autard is a classic artisan French vigneron and one who is blessed with the talent to make exceptional wines. Everything Jean-Paul does shows a respect for tradition, terroir and, above all, quality. His 30ha are split half and half between Chateauneuf and some very superior Cotes du Rhone vineyards which lie just over the appellation border. He is without doubt one of the rising stars of the Rhone.
