Tasting Notes for Tempus Two Pewter Sangiovese 2005 75 cl:
Rich ruby colour with plums, cherries, spice and vanilla on the nose. The palate has more red berry fruit with some chocolaty notes and ripe, juicy tannins.
Producer Information:
Lisa McGuigan is the third generation of her family to make wine in the Hunter Valley. In setting up Tempus Two her aim was to create a range of wines that would be neither elitist nor mass market, but combine high quality juice with ease of drinking and dazzling visual styling - pewter labels, anyone? Helped by co-winemaker Liz Jackson, Lisa has recently expanded operations and now buys in fruit from across Australia giving her maximum flexibility when producing her wines. These are wines for people with a taste for the unique.
