Tasting Notes for MadFish Shiraz 2004 75 cl:
The 2004 MadFish Shiraz is full of dark cherry fruits with spicy, peppery hints & an almost chocolaty character. The oak is restrained. The palate is rich & concentrated without being heavy and tannic
Press Coverage:
"Ruby-red. Charry, toasty raspberry and plum jam aromas are lush and spicy. Fresh, tangy and incisive, the red berry tones repeating on the palate, along with subtle mocha and tobacco hints. Finishes with a sweet, almost candied note of raspberry. Not exactly complex but delicious and easy to like. This set of wines offers very good value."

Producer Information:
The winery takes its name from Madfish Bay which can found near Denmark in Western Australia's Great Southern and where, apparently, fish go loco. Designed to reflect WA's laid-back lifestyle, both the packaging and the juice are right on the money. As you'd expect from wines from the same stable as the mighty Howard Park they are classically cool-climate in style with a real vibrancy of fruit and an abundance of cheeky charm.
