Tasting Notes for Glenguin Schoolhouse Block Shiraz 2002 75cl:
Fruits of the forest, blackberry and plum aromas; the palate is deep and rich with leather, chocolate and smoke seasoning the black fruit characters.
Producer Information:
Scottish Baron, exile from the House of Lords and former racing driver, Robin Tedder MW is an evangelist for New South Wales' wines. As you might expect Hunter Valley Shiraz and Semillon are his twin passions and ten minutes in his company is all you need to be convinced of their greatness. Future Glenguin projects to look out for include a Glengoyne malt whisky finished in Robin's Shiraz barrels and some very exciting Tannat from a maturing vineyard planted in 1997.
