South West Trade Sales

Our South West Trade Sales team is expanding and we are on the lookout for a committed wine sales person to join our On Trade Team in Bristol. The role is territory based and we are looking for candidates who live in or around the Bristol area.

Using excellent communication and relationship building skills the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Growing business across the on trade sales sector to Gastro and traditional pubs, hotels, restaurants and brasseries in a defined area
  • Managing credit limits to the direction of the finance team
  • Providing support and account management for outlets of National accounts within the defined geographical area
  • Attending generic tastings
  • Maintaining communication with all customers
  • Keeping all Bibendum databases up to date
  • Maximising sales and marketing opportunities to drive through profit

The successful candidate will:

  • Have good wine knowledge
  • Be logical, organised and articulate
  • Previous (recent) experience of hosting tastings, developing and writing wine lists
  • Be confident working alone as well as part of a close-knit team
  • Have an aptitude for hard work and drive to exceed targets
  • Self-sufficient and the ability to work independently yet within company procedures
  • Focus on delivery of results
  • Have a good level of general education and good computer skills (especially Word and Excel)

Preference will be given to candidates with previous trade sales experience.

As this is a home based role all applicants will need to be able to work from home after a suitable induction period in our offices in Primrose Hill. They will also need to hold a current driver's licence, be able to commit to working some unsociable hours and to staying away from home overnight on occasion.
