On Trade Sales Analyst and Administrator

New

Reporting to the On Trade Channel Director and working as part of the Channel and Tender team this new role will interact with all of the On Trade team and will act as a key service role providing a mix of top-line, strategic information processing and delivery together with the provision of observations and key findings of this processing of information to the team.

In addition to the analytical activities the role will develop and fulfill a number of sales administration and general support activities for the Channel Director, the Director of On Trade Sales, the On Trade Sales Management Team and for the Channel and Tender team as a whole.

To be successful in the role it is expected that the right candidate will have good experience of the operational side of sales within FMCG together with solid IT skills (especially Excel and Cognos) and experience of working on, building and delivering on reports that track business progress and identify issues.

Together with a good general education, great communication skills, strong numerical and analytical ability, a knowledge of wine that is at least WSET intermediate level or above and solid administrative work experience within an office environment the successful candidate will need to have an ability to prioritise their own workload with minimum supervision and guidance. A clear understanding of margin calculations, cost build up and other financial measures and formulae is important as is the ability to think clearly and analytically and to proactively muck in and help out the team in times of high pressure.
