Fine Wine Logistics and Stock Co-ordinator

Our Fine Wine Support Team is growing and we are now looking for a motivated and organized team player who will facilitate the shipping, warehousing and stock control of fine wine for Bibendum.
The role has five key areas of responsibility:
- Principal contact and problem solver link with our 3rd party warehouse for all fine wine issues, (including goods in, condition reporting and stock control);
- Co-ordination of brokered and en primeur logistics (shipping and receiving);
- Liaising with finance team to ensure timely management of supplier payments (including brokered wine from private clients);
- Co-ordination of fine wine shipping with core Bibendum shipping to minimize shipping costs where possible;
- Raise and administer the purchase order process for the team.
To make sure that the role is carried out successfully we need to find a great candidate who has experience of working not only in an administration role in an office environment but who has experience of logistics/supply chain or stock administration.
A meticulous eye for detail, a flexible approach and the ability to remain very focused on the task in hand in a noisy and busy environment are all required skills as is the ability to prioritise and think clearly and calmly under pressure.
Knowledge of fine wine, en primeur and the wine regions of the world would be useful in this role but unlike excellent communication and numerical skills, a tidy and organised approach to administration and the ability to problem solve they are not key pre-requisites.
This role is office based, immediately available and ideal for a wine enthusiast with a can do attitude who will be happy in a support role.
