Customer Services Team Leader

We have just promoted our Customer Services Team Leader and now need to recruit a clear thinking and committed individual to lead the Customer Services Team. With responsibility for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team, and for building and maintaining a positive team spirit, the Customer Service Team Leader will champion excellent customer service within Bibendum, ensuring customers' expectations are met and even exceeded.
The team is primarily responsible for taking & processing UK delivered trade orders, resolving delivery issues and ensuring that Bibendum lives up to its service promise of "the right wine, in the right place, at the right time and at the right price".
With proven experience in a similar team leader role, a demonstrably good customer service background, excellent problem solving and decision making skills as well as the ability to work in a tidy and organised way the right person will be tasked with ensuring that all team tasks are completed on time and that the team are able to deal with and resolve issues as they occur.
The role reports into the On Trade Customer Support Manager who has overall responsibility for the team and who will work with, and support, the team leader in terms of ensuring the Customer Service desk is able to achieve its defined objectives.
An excellent telephone manner is vital, as is a good standard of IT literacy, an eye for detail, the ability to deal accurately with numbers and ideally some experience of wine or of working within the wine industry.
