Credit Controller (Temp to Perm)

New

We are looking for a bright, intelligent, number oriented, person with demonstrably solid experience within a credit control environment to work as part of our small, close knit credit control team.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager this combined credit control and sales ledger role involves:

• Chasing customers for payment, by email, telephone, fax;
• Working to tight daily cutoffs and deadlines and releasing held orders in accordance with authorisation procedures;
• Performing credit checks and opening new accounts;
• Ensuring credit agreements are not violated;
• Dealing with customer queries
• Allocating cash;
• Managing the Direct Debit process and encouraging conversion to DD;
• Achieving cash collection targets and individual DSO targets.

This is a fast paced role suited to candidates who have a logical, calm, persistent and diplomatic approach and who are proactive, able to use their own initiative and prioritise whilst managing their own work load.

We are looking for a strong team player with good experience of credit control, a sense of humour, excellent IT and numeracy skills, a great approach to customer service, real confidence talking to customers on the telephone and good all round communication and organisational skills.

We are especially interested in candidates who are able to demonstrate experience of all/some of the following:

• Good experience of working with the sales teams to manage and collect customer debt;
• Experience of managing credit control and developing relationships with commercially important customers;
• Good experience of managing effective credit control for corporate accounts;
• Experience of working within the FMCG sector.

This is full time temp to perm role, it is available immediately and salary will depend experience and ability.
