Catering Sales
New
As a result of continuing success the business is now looking to add to its Catering team by recruiting a strong and committed individual with proven prior Trade sales experience, ideally to the corporate or catering sector.
Using excellent communication and relationship building skills the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the existing client base and for bringing in new business; for selling a wide range of products into customers; for writing and creating wine lists, for hosting formal and informal tastings and for maximizing sales and marketing opportunities to drive through profit.
To be successful the right person will need to be able to demonstrate solid and successful experience of selling wine to the On Trade. Good wine knowledge (minimum WSET Advanced Level or equivalent) along with great food and wine matching skills are essential as is a logical, organised and self motivated approach, an eye for detail and a demonstrable understanding of costing calculations and budgets.
All applicants will need excellent negotiation skills, good computer skills (especially Word and Excel), a good general level of education and experience of working within a close knit team.
This is a home based role and all applicants will need to be able to work from home after a suitable induction period in our offices in Primrose Hill. They will also need to hold a current driver's licence, be able to commit to working some unsociable hours and to staying away from home overnight on (rare) occasion.
