£50,000 raised for a fantastic cause

Bibendum recently held its very first Charity Ball at London's 8 Northumberland with all proceeds raised going to Bibendum's sponsored charity, the MS Society. Through a combination of ticket sales, a raffle, plus both a silent and grand auction, we are extremely pleased to announce £50,000 was raised for the Charity, over double our initial target of £20,000.

Taking over the grand surroundings of 8 Northunberland Avenue with a 1920's themed evening named Dames, Dappers and Debutantes, over 350 guests gathered for a four course meal, followed by cocktails and music from The Correspondents and Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.

The Ball came about through the hard work of our charity committee, The Corkscrew. After pitching the idea to Bibendum's Managing Director, Michael Saunders, the team worked tirelessly to create a fantastic event for our customers, suppliers, staff, family and friends. The team has successfully raised a superb figure for the MS Society which Bibendum has been supporting since 2008.

It takes the total figure Bibendum has raised for the MS Society to over £125,000 in cash and kind. Bibendum is the MS Society's largest current corporate donor.

The Charity Ball followed another successful fundraising event organised by The Corkscrew last summer, where they brought a late summer fete to life outside Bibendum’s Headquarters in Primrose Hill. Together with local businesses and residents the day raised £1000 for the MS Society.

A huge thank you to everyone who generously donated prizes or other support for the Ball and who came along on the night to make the event such an overwhelming success.
