A guide to the 2016 harvest in the Northern Hemisphere
Global production is estimated to be down 5% from last year. Europe was marked by adverse climatic conditions, while the US was fortunate to escape the brunt of it. But despite the various challenges, the overall impression of harvest 2016 is one of good – and sometimes even excellent – quality.
