We believe you should be able to find good wine wherever you are; at the races, on a plane or in a pub. We’re very proud to have customers from every sector of the UK market. Here’s a brief intro to a few of the places you’ll find Bibendum’s wines...

  • Restaurants

    You’ll find our wines in neighbourhood bistros, Michelin-starred establishments and all types of restaurant in between. It doesn’t matter whether the food is Sichuan, Scandinavian or Scottish, we are sure we have the right wine to match it.

  • Pubs

    Wine hasn’t always been taken as seriously in pubs as beer and spirits have but recently the rise of more food-led pubs has begun to change all that. With informal dining on the increase, this is a sector of the market that is set to boom.

  • Hotels

    We work with a wide variety of hotels from boutique, independent country houses to national groups but the role of wine is essentially the same in all of them – to enhance the consumer’s experience and add value to their stay.

  • Multiple Retailers

    Our work with the supermarkets focuses on premium own-label products that meet the needs of the retailers, support the brands concerned, and which are exclusive to this channel.

  • Independent Merchants

    With the demise of several national wine chains, independent merchants have never been more important. They keep quality wine on our high streets, selling interesting bottles with passion and knowledge.

  • Travel Retail

    Airline, cruise ships. Ferries, trains; they all sell wine and we are helping drive up quality whilst providing creative solutions to the challenge of storing, serving and drinking wine on the move.

  • Sporting & Cultural Venues

    A summer Saturday at the cricket without a decent glass of red over lunch? Unthinkable. We supply a huge range of sporting and cultural venues, helping our customers increase customer spend whilst adding value to the latter’s day out.

  • Party Planners

    A specialised niche but one that sells a surprising amount of excellent wine. Those A-Listers are a very thirsty bunch.

  • Local Wholesalers

    Whilst we cover most of the UK with our own sales managers, there are a few pockets where we partner with local wholesalers who are able to service local customers more easily and more profitably than we can.

  • Contract Caterers

    This is a broad sector that can cover everything from the café at your local art gallery to private dining for large corporate organisations. It is a very specialised market, so we have a dedicated team that understands the specific needs of each customers.

  • Bars & Late Night Venues

    Whilst we sell our agency spirits across all of these sectors, this is where they really shine. Our team have tended bar in some of the best bars in the country and no-one knows this part of the market better.
