A bit about Action Against Hunger

Every other year, Bibendum asks its staff to vote on which charity the company should support for the next two years. After four years of supporting the MS Society – in which time we raised over £125,000 in cash and kind - the decision has been made to support Action Against Hunger from April 2012 – March 2014.

Founded 30 years ago, Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger. Recognised as a leader in the fight against malnutrition, Action Against Hunger saves the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger.

With 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster and chronic food insecurity, Action Against Hunger runs life-saving programmes in over 40 countries benefitting five million people each year. Every year, Action Against Hunger’s more than 4,600 field workers help nearly 5 million people in over 40 countries worldwide.

We look forward to working very closely with Action Against Hunger over the next two years and raising a fantastic amount of money to support their work.
